KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS!!!

I've heard in past years everyone changing the familiar sound of "Merry Christmas" when in passing around Christmas time to "Happy Holidays." It is now politically correct to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas. CHRISTmas is the celebration of Christ's birth. The whole reason for Christmas at all is to celebrate our savior coming to this earth to give mankind a chance to be born again and be brought back into right standing with our father God and know that we can live throughout all eternity with Him! This is the only reason good enough to celebrate this time of year. If you don't want to call the Holiday what it really is then don't celebrate it at all but don't try to call it something else to make everyone happy. IT IS CHRISTMAS, the celebration of our Lord's birth. That is the reason for the season. Nobody worries about offending the christian, so let's as christians stand up for Christ and the reason for this season and call it was it is.

If it's not now....it's not faith!

Hebrews 11:1 NOW  faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. If there is anything I have learned during my time here at New Life Bible College, Norvel Hayes Ministries it is that you can't leave out the NOW in that verse. The Word of God is truth now! Anything other than the Word of God is a lie. The Word says in James 2:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straight way forgetteth what manner of man he was. When we become born again we decide that God's way is truth and we will believe everything He has to say ( or at least we should) The whole Bible is true. The Word says that God is not a man that He could lie. and it also says let God be true and every man a lie. We see in the Word in different places that when Jesus went to the cross He took all of our sickness and disease, all our sin, all our poverty, depression, and the list goes on. HE made us totally victorious. Anything that isn't victory in our lives is contrary to the Word of God and is a lie from satan. Because it is a lie we can know that our faith works NOW to believe God at His Word. If you knew that your hair was black and short and you looked in the mirror and it was black and short, but you walked away and someone tried to convince you that it was actually red and it was really long even thought you knew that it was short and black. You wouldn't believe them because You know who You are and that your mirror doesn't lie to you. It is the same thing with the Word. We look in it and it tells us that we are healed and that is just the way it is, but we walk away from it and the devil puts a symptom on us and tries to convince us that we are sick. We need to get the Word on the inside of us so that we know exactly who Jesus has made us so no matter what it is he brings we know that it is contrary to the Word and we won't believe his lies anymore than we would let someone  tell us our hair is red when it is obviously black. It should just be second nature to us. So our faith is NOW! It doesn't matter what anything looks like, feels like, sounds like, etc. We know that our faith works now and it's the truth whether we see it right away or not!!

There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION!!

The Bible tells us in Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. The God we serve is such a good, loving God. He wants us to walk upright, knowing that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! The second that we became born again, God set us free from ALL sin and everything that comes from sin. It says in Romans that sin  no longer has dominion over us. As we read in the new testament we can see so many examples of this "no condemnation" going into effect to the born again believer. Paul killed christians before he was born again and afterwords, he wrote 2/3 of the new testament. Peter denied Christ three times before Jesus' death and crucifixion, and Jesus wanted to make sure Peter knew that He had risen again which shows me He wanted Peter to know He still loved him no matter what and then no time at all later Peter preached on the day of pentecost. Another story that always touches my heart and reminds me of God's great love for his people is in John 8. In John 8 there is a story about a woman caught in adultery. She was caught in the very act and brought into the church where Jesus was preaching. The men that brought her in asked Jesus what they should do with her because according to the law they should stone her to death. Jesus stooped down writing on the ground as to say that He was the one that wrote the law. He turned and told the men, he that is without sin, cast the first stone. All the men left and Jesus was left alone with the woman and said where are those that accuse you ? and she said nobody and Jesus Himself said neither do I condemn you! Go and sin no more! We are given the ability to walk free from sin because we are not condemned by our God. Thank God we don't have to walk around beat up and always thinking of where we messed up but we can walk free knowing we have been made righteous and this causes us to walk free from sin. OUR GOD IS A GOOD GOD! that loves us and made it possible to live a peaceful, free, joyful life. Just like these people in the Bible, we will mess up and do the wrong thing at times but God NEVER changes His mind about us and how much He loves us!  Lift your head up and walk worthy and don't let anyone tell you different.

GOD IS FOR US!!!

I have listened to this song over and over again, it is so anointed! Listen to the lyrics and what it is really saying. God is for us. He knows everything about us and He still chooses to be for us. He knew when He died on the cross all the bad horrible things we would ever do and He still thought that we were worth it. He loves us that much. Don't try to figure out all the reasons why you don't qualify or why Jesus shouldn't be happy with you but allow this song to minister to you and count yourself worthy to be loved by your God. It won't be until you understand how much He loves you that you'll really be able to fall in love with Him. When you fall in love with Him, you fall in love with everything that concerns Him and You will never be the same. HE IS FOR YOU! He has your back and He's rooting for your success. We serve an awesome God!

FULLY SATISFIED FAITH

I have recently been reading in Romans and I cannot move past Romans 4:17-25 This portion of scripture is talking about God speaking to Abraham about being the father of many nations and having a son with his wife Sarah while they were both over 100 years old. I love this part of scripture because it emphasizes on Abraham's uncomprimising belief in God's Word and his faith that was accounted to him as righteousness. God spoke the word to Abraham in verse 17 that He had made him the father of many nations. Abraham put aside human reasoning( what his situation looked like in the natural) and he hoped in faith believing the Word of the Lord. He didn't weaken in his faith when he looked at his own impossible situation in the natural, he did not waver or let unbelief or distrust come in. It actually says in verse 20 that he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God. and my favorite part of the whole passage is in verse 21. It says that Abraham was FULLY satisfied and assured that God was able and mighty to keep His word and to do what He had promised, and this is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness. It says that it was written for our sakes too so that we also can believe in God who raised JEsus our Lord from the dead. In this he put us in total right standing with God our father and based upon what He did on the cross we can also be fully satisfied knowing that God is always faithful to do EVERYTHING He said He would do as long as we will just believe Him and His Word without wavering.  We don't have to see anything or feel anything to believe God, we just have to believe HIS word and know that He is not a man that He could lie. He said as sons and daughters of God, we have a right to total healing, prosperity, joy, strength, and freedom from everything the devil tries to put on us contrary to God's Word. We don't have to do anything to earn our righteousness except have faith and believe God will do what He said he will do and it is counted to us as righteousness. THANK YOU JESUS!!!! Let us all be fully satisfied in the promise that we have in Jesus. Let's not look at the natural anymore to determine how we will react but let's look at the TRUTH of the Word and let it be bigger in our life that anything else.

You have AUTHORITY!!!!

The Bible says in Luke 10:19 Behold I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and over ALL the power of the enemy and nothing shall in any way harm you. This is awesome news! When we are born again into the family of GOd and become a child of God, The Holy Spirit comes and dwells on the inside of us. We become God containers. He goes everywhere we go and no matter WHAT tries to come against us, The God on the inside of us has POWER and AUTHORITY over it. AMEN! It says as Jesus was so are we in this earth. Everything He did we can do. According to the verse, there is NOTHING that can defeat us. There is no sickness, disease, poverty, depression, anxiety, or anything that comes from hell that can have any place in your life unless you let it. It is up to us. We have been given the authority. We need to exercise that authority now in our daily lives. If a symptom of sickness comes at you or your finances don't look good. SPEAK TO THEM! Tell them to line up wiht the WORD OF GOD! Everything you need to know about who you are is in the WORD of God. It tells you that you are wealthy, healthy, strong, full of joy, at peace, and the list goes on. This is who you really are and this is how you can tell yourself to be everyday.I heard one minister say that when he wakes up in the morning he doesn't ask himself how he feels, he tells himself how he feels! amen! Tell the devil to take his hand off of your life in the name of Jesus. He has no right to anything in your life and he has to leave when you tell him to in Jesus name. and then you tell your circumstances to line up wiht God's WORD. It works. Believe what the Bible says and practice your authority today. God has already done all that He can now it is up to us to speak to every area of our life, speak truth, and you will see VICTORY in every area of your life!

What separates you from God's love ?

Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. You can decide whatever you want to separate yourself from receiving God's love but NOTHING separates you from His love for you. Isn't this refreshing? I don't know how many times I have heard things like sin separates us from God's love but here it clearly says that NOTHING can separate us from His love. This is a powerful love! If we would begin to understand God's love for us as it is intended for us to understand, we would see the Body of Christ completely and totally transformed moving and flowing in everything God intended for us to walk in. I believe totally and completely that God's love for us is the foundation for everything in this walk with the Lord. It was His purpose for creating us, the purpose for coming and dying for us, all so that He could be in communion with us and father us. HE LOVES US! I heard a teaching lately that said if we would fall back in love with Him we would get lost in that love, lose ourself, and this would change our lives. He is always waiting for us to come and spend time with Him, to love on Him, He is desperate for just a little time with us. Never forget how much He loves you, now return that love, fall in love with your creator and savior. Let Him saturate you in His love. His love is not weak, it is the most powerful thing in the world and you will walk in strength and authority knowing that the Creator of the Universe is head over heals in love with you!!!

Jesus is YOUR I AM!

Jesus is the I AM! He is everything you or I could ever need. This song is just such a good reminder of how powerful the God that we serve is. There is nothing too difficult for Him. Anything that tries to come in and destroy your life of Victory is powerless to our awesome God. We can just give whatever it is that that comes at us, like I talked about in an earlier blog, knowing that God makes everything in our life Victory if we will just rest in Him knowing on our own we can do nothing. God's love is so powerful! He wants you to know that if we will just fall in love with who He is and get lost in Him we will lose ourself and find our true idenity in Who He is and Who we are in Him!!!!

I want to start out by quoting Philippians 4:6,7 From the amplified: Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And Gods peace which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your heart and minds in Christ Jesus. The Bible also says in I Peter 5:7 Casting the whole of your care on Him for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully. These verses put it pretty plainly but for the last month I have really been meditating on them and what they mean and I have begun to understand that experiencing peace(no matter what is going on around you) as a child of God is one of the easiest things in the world to access. We live in a society that is constantly busy, constantly moving, and giving us every reason to get anxious and stressed out and without the Lord that is exactly what we do. I understand now that as a child of God, I can look at my God and He is peace. As Jesus is so am I in this world (I John 4:17) For this reason, I look to Him and I know that I have peace, the same peace Jesus has and therefore I will refuse to take on anxiety, or stress or worry that will get me nowhere. I give it to God. I wake up on the morning and one of the first things I say is, "Lord no matter what comes up today,no matter what has the potential to stress me out, or cause me to worry,or become anxious,I will only allow peace in my life, so I give you every worry,care, and anxiety. You don't know what defeat is so I gladly give you every care because I know that you know the beginning from the end and I know that the result will only be victory EVERYTIME!" You might not always feel peace but don't go by your feelings, go by the truth of the Word and know that you have peace that passes all understanding and God wants to take your care and trade it for Victory. We serve such an awesome God and everyone will see Him working in your life when they see you walking in total peace and victory in a busy,stressful,anxious society. Choose peace!!

unchanging love that will always change.....U!!!

If I have learned anything about who my God is....I have absolutely learned that you cannot separate Him from love. So many people in the world,a majority of them being Christians believe that God is a mean God. Now hear me out a minute before you decide that I don't know what Im talking about. How many times have you heard someone tell you that someone is sick because God wanted to teach them a lesson or wanted them to really draw close to Him and that's what it took, or the quite familiar God likes us poor to keep us humble, or God needed another angel in heaven so He took that baby home, and the list goes on and on and it usually is followed up with an amen or a hallelujiah. This sounds like a pretty mean God to me, and most of the world saved and unsaved are rolling things like this off their tongues all day. It's horrible and I will tell people that it is wrong all day everyday for the rest of my life. It's not in the Bible and it's not truth. The word "Gospel" itself means good news and that is exactly what it is. God sent Jesus Christ His only son into this world taking on all the sin of the world, literally becoming sin (2 Cor 5:21)so that we as born again believers would be free. God sent Jesus making a way for us to walk in victory all the time in this world. Anything opposite from victory is opposite of who God is and what God does. Our God is a good God. I heard one preacher ask why so many Christians are fighting to be sick and poor and Id like to know the same thing. It says in Romans 13:10 it says that love is the fulfilling of the law and earlier in scripture it says that Jesus is the fulfilling of the law. This let's us know that God doesn't just love,He is love. When we as the body of Christ will begin to receive the love God has for us we will never be the same. We can't keep rejecting it by believing he does bad things to people for any reason. He has nothing bad to give,Jesus took it all for the believer on The cross. Jesus died for the whole world to be saved and if we cant receive His love for us we are going to have a hard time letting the world know how much God loves them and wants them to be a part of His family. There has been nothing more life changing in my life than discovering and receiving Gods unchanging love for me. The more I understand and experience His love for me the more I fall in love with Him. Let Jesus love you today..and EVERY DAY!! There is nothing you can do to make Him change His mind and not love you. (Rom 8: 38,39) God has only good things to give you!
