GET RADICAL!!!

Mark 16:15 And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This is my last blog as a college student and New Life Bible College. MY life has totally been transformed in the last four years that I have been here in Cleveland. This portion of scripture is the scripture that New Life is founded on. We are called as born again christians to go out and do what this Word says. We are not called to be ordinary. We are not called to be complacent. We are not called to be good "christian" people. We are called to be radical, sold out children of the most high. Our God is radical about everything He does and Is. He is a radical lover, healer, and savior. He radically gave His life up on the cross so you could be radically saved. God is desperate to use His kids on this planet to reach the lost and desperate of this world. Get desperate for Jesus. Know that He is head over heals in love with you. Allow yourself to fall head over heals in love with Him. Expect that every time you fellowship with your father, that you will be changed. The beautiful thing about this relationship with God is that we NEVER stop growing. Get filled up with God. Get to know Him like never before. GET RADICAL ABOUT YOUR WALK WITH HIM. Then go out and represent your radical God and let Him do everything He wants to do through you. I know that I am never going to be the same and neither will this world because of my God inside of me!!

I Love You --God

This is a really cool video just to remind you how much God loves you. We can read a famous verse in John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus died for the whole world. He loves you and He wants you! Just let Him love you and watch yourself fall helplessly back in love with Him!! He's good!! He loves you!!! He wants you!!! He needs you!!

Take no thought! God cares for you!

If we read the great sermon on the mount that Jesus preached in Matthew 5-7, we can learn so much, but one part I really want to focus on in this blog is that nobody as a child of God needs to take thought or care for their lives. When we become born again, we become children of God, and God always takes the ultimate care for His children. It says in Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Jesus tells us not to take any thought for our lives because we have such a good heavenly father that wants to meet our every need. If you read on through verse 34 which I highly recommend, you will see how Jesus explain that the lilies of the field and the birds of the air and how they don't do anything but yet God takes care of them perfectly. It says in verse 26 are ye not much better that they and in 30 shall he not much more clothe you, o ye of little faith. God wants to take care of you, He paid a HEAVY price for your freedom from care. He paid a major price so that you would never have to go without or be in need. Trust in Jesus and let Him be your care taker, allow Him to do what He wants to do and meet your needs. Get this part of scripture inside of you, Jesus preached this for you!! God loves you, receive His love and walk in abundance!

Stop Being Mad at Yourself part one 1

This is one of a few teachings titles stop being mad at yourself on Youtube by Joyce Meyer. Just watch this and listen. God made us righteous and we need to decide before we do anything else to receive the gift that Jesus has already paid for. It does us no good to mull over past sins and failures and feel bad for ourselves. We need to accept the price Jesus paid and walk the good and full life Jesus made available!!!

GROWTH IN GOD= realizing WITHOUT HIM you can do nothing!

I believe the more I get to know God, to hear the Holy Spirit, the more I realize that He wants to be a part of everything in my life. He wants to help me make the big and the small decisions. He wants to hang out with me while out and when I’m at home working around the house or cooking dinner. He loves me more than any friend, husband, mother, father, or anyone ever could. He never leaves me, He never forsakes me. He is the best friend I could ever have. He is the comforter. He helps me to understand the Word of God that I am reading. I can’t effectively really read the Word of God and learn new things without Him speaking to me and being my guide. I am learning more all the time that I need to depend on Him for everything. We are told in John that without God we can do nothing and it is so true. It also says that in Him we live, move, and have our being. I believe that the more we understand how much we can’t do with God the more God can do through us and I have definitely learned that He does a WAY better job. It says in the Word that God gives grace to the humble. This is because people that realize how much they can’t do without God, the humble, are able to receive grace from God. We need grace to do EVERYTHING God has called us to do. We can do none of it on our own. SO I would say that this is the area of my life as a Christian growing in the Lord that I have grown the most in, learning of my inability without Christ. Religion always has and always will teach us what we need to do but the truth is Jesus did everything on the cross and only through Him can we do any of it. I believe that when we begin to understand the love God has for us and like the verse in 1 John 4:10 says, ( herein is love, not that we love God but that God loved us and sent His son as the propitiation for our sins) we will begin to truly fall in love with God and that is what will birth true change in our lives. I believe I have really begun to understand how much God loves me and I see the evidence of it in my every day life. I Think that this leads to growth in every other area. I want to read my Bible not only because I know I should and I need to learn things about who I am but I can get to know even more intimately through the Word about my God who loves me so much and that I have fallen in love with. This relationship is a love walk and I plan on falling more in love with my Jesus and the result of that will always be me acting more like Him as well.

ONLY BELIEVE!

Mark 5: 36, Jesus says, Be not afraid, only believe! When we see Jesus say this in scripture, it is directly following people telling Him that a girl He was going to pray for had died. Nothing moved Jesus!! He was a man like you and I, who got to know His Father God, and knew that He would do exactly what He said He would do and never even thought of another option. See, Jesus knew that it was God's will to heal, that it was God's will to prosper, that it was God's will for people to be free in their mind, etc. He knew God's will concerning these matters and that settled it. Jesus didn't just tell other people to only believe. He only believed every time without any second thoughts and we know and see in the Word that Jesus always got results!! He went on after telling the people to not be afraid but to only believe to telling the people when He saw the girl that she was not dead, but sleeping and He was laughed at. As  we can see in scripture, He was not moved because He was laughed at. If we are convinced of something we don't care what others say because TRUTH always wins. We have to get convinced of what the Word of God says and apply to our lives everyday. Jesus continued on put the people that didn't believe out of the room and told the girl to rise up and walk and that is exactly what she did. Jesus never even thought of another option. He knew that when He told that girl to rise up she had to because He knew His Father was true and true to His Word. We need to get convinced like Jesus was convinced. There is no other option. The Word is truth, completely ALL THE TIME, EVERY TIME and we must start walking in it and be convinced of it!

Joseph Prince - Speak God's Language of Faith - 31 October 2010

2 Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith and not by sight. We need to speak God's Word no matter what things look like. God's Word is true and it is real. When we speak the truth we will see it, but we must believe it in our heart before we will see it. Speak it until you believe you it !!

He became my sin!

I was thinking, with the Easter season coming up, how often we forget what Jesus really did on the cross that day when He hung and died and later rose from the dead! JESUS became my sin. It says in I Peter 2:24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree. It also says in Isaiah 53:5 He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him. Every sin, sickness, and disease of the entire human race entered into the physical body of Jesus Christ. God put all of our sin on His son Jesus for us. Jesus didn't deserve that. He was the only human that ever lived a perfect life and we certainly didn't deserve it. We were all full of sin and evil. Jesus took what we deserved...and we freely can receive what He deserved. Jesus paid the total price for all of our sin. He took it and the punishment for it by going to hell and raising again so that WE DON"T EVER HAVE TO! He was even forsaken by His own father. Jesus said in Mark 15:34 when hanging on the cross My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus did that so that I would never have to be forsaken by God. JESUS paid a HEAVY price for our sin and He finished it once and for all. Once we decide to accept what He did for us on the cross and receive Him into our life and make Him Lord, we receive the benefit of everything He did on the cross. I have been made free from sin, free from sickness, free from disease, free from poverty.... free from being forsaken by my father God..and every other by product of sin. I am a free child of God. Let's not forget even for a minute what Jesus did on the cross for us....it where are freedom is at!

IMPOSSIBLE life!

This christian life that we live isn't just hard to live...it is absolutely and completely impossible! we are told in Matthew 5:39-41 But I (Jesus) say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. This is not just something that is hard to do, it is impossible. God constantly, throughout the Word asks us to do things that are impossible (in our own strength). As a christian, we must build a relationship with God. It says in Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  We must focus on Jesus, like I have said many times in this blog, give up and get rid of any confidence in our own flesh, and allow Jesus to flow through us. As christians, sons and daughters of God, God wants to live through us so we can be who he has told us we can be through His Word. So in our own strength, everything God asks of us is impossible, but with JESUS ALL things are possible in our lives and walk with Him!

Get in His presence!

Many times we hear things like get into Jesus presence when you are at church or at a church gathering. The truth is we can get into Jesus presence ANY time we want to. It is always readily available to us as children of God. Time spent in Jesus' presence changes us. The more time we spend in His presence, the more like Him we will become! You hear things like the more you are around somebody the more you act like them...good or bad....The more we hang around Jesus, the more we will act like Jesus! This song tells some of the benefits of being in His presence. I want everything Jesus has and He said that what He did we could do and more. Enter in, whether it be through prayer, meditation, the Word, worship. Focus on Jesus and fall in love with Him in His presence.

EVERYTHING's gonna be alright....why ? JESUS...that's why

I just recently was laying sick at home late at night and trying to sleep. My husband had Kenneth Copeland on the tv. I woke up to him preaching a sermon on the love of God. I couldn't fall back asleep because what he was saying was so good and was really ministering to me. I know I have said in this blog a million times..and every time I get the opportunity to speak to people about the Lord I let them know how much God loves us. I am continually growing in the knowledge of God's love for me. I know that understanding God's love for me has been the number one revelation that has ushered change into my life. I believe that if we would focus totally on God's love for us and really get rooted and grounded in it, every other part of our walk with the Lord would come so much easier and with much less confussion. It says in John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. It says in the Word that God is love, He cannot seperate Himself from His love for us. If God is the vine and we are the branches, and we aren't connected to Him we will die. The second you remove a branch from the vine it dies because the life can no longer flow to it. If we don't focus on His love, which as I explained is HIM and abide in Him, His love, we won't be able to live because without Him we can't do anything. So......FOCUS on His love for you....It says in the Word in I John 4:10 that that is love anyway, His love for us, not the other way around. Don't focus on the circumstances around you or how "good" of a christian you are being or how much you fall short, but focus on Him and His love and EVERYTHING will be alright...why? JESUS..that's why!!!!

Jesus Culture Consumed - Oh Lord You´re Beautiful

This song ministers to me everytime I hear it! When we begin to fall in love with Jesus and realize how good He is to us it will change your whole view on everything from how you read the Word to how you worship and how you pray, knowing what He really has done for us out of His pure love for us. God is a good God and He wants you to understand how good He is and how much He loves you so that you can fall more in love with Him and let that love flow through you to everyone around you!!! I know in my own life it has been understanding how much He loves me that has changed everything. I can't help but fall more and more in love with Him the more I learn and understand this.

THE BALANCE OF GRACE AND FAITH

I wanted to share this video because this is something that is a big question with many people in the "church world". People don't understand, according to the Word, what our part is and what God's part is. This little clip of Andrew's sermon is really powerful in showing us what God already did and what we do now to receive it. Listen to this short video, it will set you free!

THIS IS LOVE!

So many times in church and in the "Christian circle " we are told to love God and people more. Fall more in love with God and the rest will fall into place. This is what I was always taught and it sounds really good but what I realized time and time again was when I tried my hardest to love God and people but it was in my own strength and I failed and got discouraged time and time again. I heard in a teaching one night that I was listening to that we are given the definition of love in the Word. It it in IJohn 4:10 Here in is love, not that we love God but that He loved us and sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins. Love is knowing God loves us. Until we begin to understand how much we are loved by our creator, Father God, we will never be able to really love Him and those around us. We will be trying to do that and the rest of our walk with the Lord with our will power and mind and we will continue to fail. When we understand that He loves us and allow Him to love us, that love will naturally flow through us back to Him to those around us and into all of our life affecting everything we do for God. We can do nothing without Jesus. since I have been meditating on this verse and Gods love for me, I have noticed my life lining up with the Word Without me getting wore out because His love is that powerful and I need to be connected to it in order to be able to fulfill everything that He has called me to on this earth. So get connected to true love, The one who first loved you out of sin and let His perfect love change your life!

Serve the care taker not the care!

I was going over all my bills and their due dates and getting things in order a few days ago. Directly after I finished I went to get into the Word for a bit. I had just started reading Matthew again a couple days ago and I had left off at chapter 6. I opened up and began to read I got into Matthew 6:24-34 which I have read many times before but it felt this morning like God had written this scripture personally to me. All this scripture is talking about serving God and not mammon and taking no thought for your life. I felt so much peace. I was telling a friend so many times our "thought" or our "care" takes over our life. we go to worship the Lord or read the Word and all we can think about is the "care", how our bills will get paid or family issues and How they will get solved and millions of other things going on in our life. We put the care before God.We need to put God before the care. It says we cannot serve both. If we would learn to take no thought and cast our care on Him we would begin to truly worship the Lord and we would forget the care and by getting closer to our savior we would begin to understand how much He loves us and receive all His blessings and benefits and then we will realize like the scripture says we don't need to take the care on because we know the care taker!!! Thank you Jesus

Passion with a purpose!

We had a powerful service this last Sunday about being passionate about the Lord. It made me realize how easy it is to fall into a passive, complacent Christian life. I was talking with a good friend about the goodness of God and we began talking about the difference between the world and the church. We have realized that the world is passionae about their sin, their lifestyle while much of the church world are living these boring Christian lives that aren't appealing to even themselves. Our Christian walk should be the exciting life people see and want to live not the other way around. In order for this to be true we must become passionate about the things of God. Everyone is passionate about something. Look around you and think of yourself and the people in your life and you will realize what people are passionate about whether it be a sport, television, art, drinking, etc. Their is always something tha drives a person. When we become born again our spirit man becomes alive and automatically is passionate about the things of God. We just need to stir that passion up on te inside of us. We serve a God that raises people from the dead, heals the sick, delivers the bound, and so much more. We serve a God that can do what no man or devil could ever do! We serve a passionate God and we should be a passionate people. When we Turn our passion towards the things of God we will Begin to see the awesome things of God begin to manifest in every area of our lives and people will be desperate for what we have. Get passionate about our God!
