Serve the care taker not the care!

I was going over all my bills and their due dates and getting things in order a few days ago. Directly after I finished I went to get into the Word for a bit. I had just started reading Matthew again a couple days ago and I had left off at chapter 6. I opened up and began to read I got into Matthew 6:24-34 which I have read many times before but it felt this morning like God had written this scripture personally to me. All this scripture is talking about serving God and not mammon and taking no thought for your life. I felt so much peace. I was telling a friend so many times our "thought" or our "care" takes over our life. we go to worship the Lord or read the Word and all we can think about is the "care", how our bills will get paid or family issues and How they will get solved and millions of other things going on in our life. We put the care before God.We need to put God before the care. It says we cannot serve both. If we would learn to take no thought and cast our care on Him we would begin to truly worship the Lord and we would forget the care and by getting closer to our savior we would begin to understand how much He loves us and receive all His blessings and benefits and then we will realize like the scripture says we don't need to take the care on because we know the care taker!!!
